Colts & Ravens, 1st Half

I've been pretty impressed with this game so far. Both teams are obviously capable of winning it all this year, and they both play with good energy and focus.

I'm especially interested in how odd it it to watch these teams when the Colts are on offense and the Ravens defense. It's a little like Mad-Scientist-Football. Between Manning and his eccentric repertoire of audibles and the myriad blitz packages that Ray Lewis and his crew offer, watching these guys play veers between incredibly exciting and entirely confusing. With all the pre-snap movement, it feels like a football layman like myself has no chance to understand all the different things that are going on.

It has been a good game. The Indy D is playing very well. However, Peyton Manning is the biggest choker in playoff football. He needs to grow a nutsack. Once he gets rattled, his timing is off and makes bad decisions. If they win this game, they could beat SD, but they will not beat the Patriots.
