Watched final part of the game while I was checking in the Houston Rockets at the hotel. Yao Ming did not show up so I snuck up to his room to watch Gould stick it through the uprights. You would have thought it was the Chicago Bulls in the hotel the way the place exploded. Everyone loves the Bears.
As I watch the AM Sports reports I am coming to realize how lucky we are to have another game and another week of Bears football. I get the feeling that Seattle had every opportunity to win this game and didn't. They are roasting Holmgren's play calling. Lots of good words re: Grossman's play. I just hope he has one more good game in him. I'm very happy not to be a San Diego fan this AM. They have to be kicking themselves. I am in NYC with Patrick this week.
I watched the entire game with my neighbor at his house. It's a good thing because I made lots of noise.
Grossman and the defense played well enough for them to an escape with a win. And I do think the absence of Harris and Brown decreased the effectiveness of the defense. Harris caused all kinds of problems for the offense. Their four-person rush is not the same without him.
I just hope Grossman can stay confident and focused against the Saints. His offense needs to protect him, though. He really gets rattled with the blitz.

No Yao? Bet he was at Soldier, doing it right. Chicago. China. They both start out "Ch". He's gotta be a fan.

I think everyone loves the Bears the way they love the Cubs...lovable losers..
Our defense sucked... What happened to that once proud assembly ?
Can one lineman and one safety make that much of a dfference ?
I watched enough of the San Diego Game to come away with the same feeling as the Bears game... I am not at all sure that the right team won...
How many hurries, sacks, etc did Grossman have...
Anyone want to give me points and N.O. ... I am taking
